Well My Other Mudfish Escaped From The Pail

Aaaaaand there goes my lunch, apparently the other bigger Snakehead fish managed to let itself out from the pail and maybe crawled either to the road where some lucky person had picked it up or it had gone through our wastewater canal and unto the drainage system.

Mudfishes tends to do that kind of thing when they are in a confined spaces, they are powerful fishes which are unlike other fishes, they can find a way to escape if the place that you had put them in is not secured enough. They are really powerful and you cannot just hold them especially if they are so big.

My way of holding them is to put them in a big plastic bag so that they won't escape and after they are secured I would feel the head where I can stab it with a knife working the knife from side to side until the brain is obliterated. At that point it is already dead and will never struggle anymore.

Now I am left without my favorite food because it had escaped thanks to my parents who can't do a simple thing to secure it which lead to its escape.

Edit: They did secured it with some heavy weight on top but still the big mudfish is powerful enough to escape the pail where it was put in. So the best way really is to put heavier weight on the cover or maybe use a fish net for that matter.
