After my session today we just went straight at the center of the city where the branch of a big drugstore is located so that I can be able to purchase my Renvela and my Cinacalcet. I also asked my mother to ask for vitamin C because I only have a few left in my bottle. It is an Ascorbic acid but what my mother was able to buy was a "Sodium Ascorbate" which is an non-acidic form of Vitamin C.

My mother took it anyway, the last of the vitamin C supply of that big drugstore. I can just imagine that lots of people just bought the entire supply that now there is no supply of vitamin C at any drugstore that we know of as even the lesser known and generic brands got sold out.

Sodium Ascorbate is only good because it is non-acidic, it could be good for me too but I myself cannot #megadose on these because it is in a sodium form. These will definitely raise my blood pressure because it is sodium and will make me feel thirsty. Maybe I can still take a tablet everyday since it is currently hot and humid here in my place and I sweat a lot which often makes a salt residue on my skin.

Sodium Ascorbate also affects the liver so it is not good to take it in large doses. Still fine for me because vitamin C just stays in my body because I do not produce urine anymore, it just circulates in my body. I just have to get my source everyday because I know that it protects the body's cells against damage from oxygen (oxidation processes).
