I thank God for my sister-in-law because if she hadn't bought a cheap second-hand PC and that very old Lenovo laptop I wouldn't had discovered Bitcoin. Also my brother offered me to buy one of their second-hand company's PC which I also used to venture out in the internet.

Using those old and slow PC's is just fun, it allowed me to learn and play around with Linux distros, installed and uninstalled OSs, learned about how to avoid viruses or malwares, ran scripts that programmed hacked internet modems, downloaded movies and enjoyed them too among some other things that occupied my mind while living as a dialysis patient.

Then I stumbled upon Piratebay where I used to download stuffs, from there they were posting their donation address for BTC. So Bitcoin caught my attention so I asked my brother to look upon BTC because at that time BTC can still be mined using graphic cards from PCs and laptops but sadly he just ignored me and he wouldn't look upon it.

After hanging around in forums I began to look for means of making money out from the internet through the section of those forums. I stumbled upon crowd-sourced work in Facebook which actually is stressful because it is time-based and very few and far in between to work with plus the difficulty of doing it is hard, I didn't make much money from it but it was the start and made me to apply for getting a debit car to put my earning into.

Then an online friend had introduced me to writing blogs that actually pay for every like, view, and comment on your post. From there I did actually made some serious money, I thought that it would last forever because it is fun to do and I had a lot of interactions with that site until the site went belly-up because of unforeseen problems.

The money that I earned I used to buy BTC when BTC is still at around 190 to 210 dollars, invest in point to click (PTC) sites, online BTC "Cloudmining" which I lost money from, Pyramid scams like "Rev Shares" that didn't end well because it is an outright Ponzi scheme which I am not aware of because of my naive and trusting set of mind, and then I discovered crypto exchanges afterwards. All that wild west mayhem for investing money for the reason my need to make some money because I am in panic mode to earn as I do not have a job and can't work and have to sustain my medical needs.

Fortunately I didn't lose all my BTC's and managed to save some plus steem and other Altcoins on the side I think i am in the best position than most people especially for a person with handicap like me. It is indeed a learning curve, nevermind the things I lost because what I was earning today is I cannot discount because it is something fantastic to happen in my life as one of the fortunate ones that was able to venture upon cryptocurrencies.

Now that BTC is doing what it is supposed to do I am already happy in addition of being involved with steem that changed my life thanks to the friends that helped me, you will all be repaid by God I am sure of that, thank you.
