It Is My Dialysis Center's Christmas Party For Patients And Relatives Today

It Is Sad That I Can't Go And Socialize With My Fellow Patients

I can imagine now that my co-dialysis patients are already having a good time having fun and basically party at this time of writing. Dialysis centers here have the tradition of having their Christmas parties with all those great food, the bigger the dialysis center is the more grand the foods being catered are. In my center there is always some roast pig plus some others.

Foods really are abundant and people who attend can even get seconds or maybe thirds as not all of the patients attend such events. I would like to go to have some fun too but I am just a prisoner of my own body. For one thing my head nurse is not in good terms with me, she is grumpy with some of the patients including me, always frowning when talking to me so it would be an awkward moment if I would socialize with her.

It is just one of my reason but also I do am suffering from mouth deformation so good luck to me if I was to enjoy the foods because I can't eat normally and comfortably if I am not laid back down to eat. Again it would be inconvenient and awkward to see me in that pitiful condition.

I Missed So Much Good Foods Today As Well

Plus of course the pain in my backbone as well that is bothering me all these years even with medications that I am using. It is really disheartening and depressing because my future and current life is now in the crapper already because of all these.

Anyway, our Christmas party has some speech delivered by our Nephrologist and the owner of the Hospital where my dialysis center is located. I am only basing this in the itinerary said by one of my nurses. There will be dance numbers by my nurses too but some will not dance because of their reasons.

There will be raffles, games, and exchange gifts, and give-aways. I once received a prize award in being a long-term dialysis patient. But my father when we are loading up a diesel fuel from the gas station lost the money that I should be using to pay for my dialysis session and used the award money to pay for my session instead. He lost money many times over by putting bills in his front pocket jeans.

Anyway i hope that my co-patients get a good time with their party because most of them have nothing to turn to which makes myself quite fortunate because even though the folks in my dialysis center aren't really my friends but here in steem community I had found an extension of my family that are just empowered to do good things and not only in one day.
