Saved By The Bell Again

Today I had a relatively good dialysis although one minute before the scheduled termination time I couldn't endure the low blood pressure anymore that I have to notify one of my nurses to cut the treatment. Saved by the bell as it corrected my BP almost immediately after they infused saline solution into my system because it is the immediate way of rectifying a falling blood pressure.

I call it victory when I almost survive my dialysis and of course excellent if my blood pressure didn't go down at all. But oddly enough although I had eaten a lot and finished my drink plus the additional infusion of saline solution I went home lighter with my weight.

Clearer Lungs Means A Better Well-being For Me

That is why my lungs got cleared up a bit so I could breathe easier now than a few hours ago. I am just thankful that my lungs are still holding up and not catching pneumonia or something because it is always drenched in fluids which makes me get a breathing difficulty if I did get so much liquids that I consume, only to get relieved again and again by dialysis.

Maybe there indeed a correlation between my regular Vitamin C intake with my resistance to infections. It might hold one of the keys for my longevity that I always talk about. I just liked the way that vitamin C works to the body because in the course of my taking it I never suffered a single bout of colds and I am talking about more than twenty years here when I did started it after my first fistula in my arm, the dialysis access for my blood had to be deaden and relocated to the upper-arm because it got bigger.

Regular Vitamin C Intake Makes You Immune To Catching Colds

So after the operation I just have to find a way to make it heal faster. I took vitamin C and just liked the way it does to my 11 stitches wound. After two weeks it had completely healed to the wonderment of my dialysis nurse but I haven't said a thing to him. From that point on I continued taking vitamin C in small doses and I experienced that all the while I haven't caught any cold or even flu for that matter.

I told my experience to my parents and my siblings because they are sometimes getting colds. They listened and now my family is just cold-free and of course I am happy with the outcome considering my parents are health conscious and are fond of eating fish and vegetables which maybe explains their strength up to this time that they are both in 70's age group.

Vitamin C With Foods Will Make You Absorb More Iron

Vitamin C boosts the immune system so I think it will also help me with my Liver disease I hope. Not only that though but Vitamin C makes the person absorb more iron from what he eats when they take vitamin C with Liver for example or green leafy vegetables. So it is good to incorporate vitamin C with our healthy diet so that we could assimilate more of the iron thereby making us more strong and with our well-being much better than usual.

Anyway, that is what separates me from other dialysis patients, I take vitamin C and most of them aren't in fact they are forbidden to take vitamin C. But for me that have a virus in my body and the fact that I really like the immune boosting effect of it I rather just take it anyway about a gram a day.
