I Am Trying To Eat With My Hands Now Even Though They Are Weak And Crooked

I am the one who likes to eat with their hands but it was not convenient lately for me to do it in more than a year because for one thing I will bother my mother to take the basin so I can wash my hands after eating plus if the viand is fish it is hard for me to use my spoon since I could not use the fork because I am eating lying down on my side and because of that I couldn't use my left hand.

Eating while sitting up is also inconvenient for me because I have the trouble in swallowing my food. It is because my esophagus had sunked and was pulled down by my collapsed backbone. As a result it is difficult to swallow not to mention chewing my food at the same time trying to keep it all in inside my mouth without spilling.

So the only way and relatively convenient option for me is to eat while laying down. My doctor says that I am eating like a King but I rather be a pauper eating alone with a simple meal in normal position than having a banquet and not being able to eat normally not to mention having an appetite issue.

Anyway, lately my mother had brought me some fried grouper fish. It is a very tasty fish and I like the texture. I said that I will have to eat with my hands, it is not that easy because my hands now are crooked, very weak, and the left hand is starting to hurt already.

But nonetheless it is better to eat with hands especially if you are a rice-eater like me. But this time it had gotten hard because of the way my hands work now. Next time I will try to eat with my hands because it adds appetite for some reason but maybe I could feel the food or something like that. So next time that my viand is fish it is just better for me to use my hands.
