I Already Determined How Much Caffeine To Take Per Dialysis Session

Today prior and during my dialysis I took 200 mg and 500 mg of Caffeine pills/capsules including the energy drink contains respectively. So I guess that it was the right amount of Caffeine to take for my case just to avoid having the jitters after dialysis because less a gram of it really perks me up until the next day if not for the counter-effects of my Gabapentin that I use to make me feel relaxed and get some good quality sleep.

I also regret in taking Caffeine, it is just I needed its heart-stimulating effects while hooked-up for my session. It is funny when I could feel the cumulative effects on my heart, it just makes my heart palpitate and pump like crazy but I get the confidence that it will not get worse because I am being dialyzed or cleaned with my blood at the moment.

Then about an hour later my heart would calm down, meaning that dialysis had substantially cleaned much of the Caffeine in my system out and making me survive dialysis an hour after taking it. After three hours my heart is substantially pumping enough just to support my blood pressure up and going at normal ranges.

That is why I am so happy that at least I had found a way to make my blood pressure stable and allowing me to get the best dialysis treatment possible while getting to reduce my body's weight into my desired levels. I just tell the nurses via a "waiver" letter how much fluids to take our from my body and how fast the blood pump would be because they often "play safe" with the setting so that the patient would not feel any complications which actually is not good.

A good dialysis session is when you get cramps and like what happens to me, having my BP to go down. It just means that you are substantially cleaned and drawn-out with water from your body. If your BP didn't budge after dialysis or you haven't felt it "much" then there is something wrong about your dialysis. The body really has to react to changes and if it didn't react then your session is not good so to speak.

Anyway, I am just cutting back on one pill and one energy drink which in total would strip my usual does of 264 mg Caffeine per dialysis session. I will just stick to taking one pill of 200 mg prior to my dialysis and then 400 mg from two tablets just a few minutes before i would eat my dialysis meal, that is about an hour after I got hooked for my session and then drinking my energy drink after I eat which contains only about 100 mg of caffeine. Then I will just let it circulate in my body doing its effect in my heart until the Caffeine washes away after three hours or at least most of it.

Dialysis is also effective in cleansing the blood's sugar levels even with the use of a small and common low flux dialyzer and with a blood pump of only 200 mL/minute. I have observed that before and after I went for my appendectomy when they dialyzed me at the hospital. Hourly they would check my blood sugar and every after an hour they would see that my blood sugar went down so they would infuse d50-50 solution, that glucose solution and it would raise my blood glucose level again.
