How I got Victimized and Survived Scams

After discovering how I can access the Internet freely and cheaply about more than five years ago, I started to look for ways to earn. I actually couldn't find one because all I could find was these paid-to-click sites which can only offer great income if you invest and then work on it with due diligence, intellect, and patience. So I didn't enter because I thought if I would start with no investment which I am not willing to, it will take years and still I have no idea if I can do it.

Then after some years I ventured into a social blogging platform where every views, like, and comment get paid with one cent. It was introduced to me by a friend so I tried to post but haven't got paid because of some violation. I used a photo where I didn't make necessary attribution and a non-free photo for that purpose. I did some necessary corrections and then after a few days I received my payment through a popular online payment system. I made my first substantial Internet money for maybe about a year.

Then I used my earnings to buy some needed things for the house like a small refrigerator and the TV as well as what I needed for myself. I thought I was in earning Utopia because I was earning more than seventeen dollars at times in a day until the website lagged in its payments and then finally capitulated. It saddened me because I have nothing to turn to that time, no site I can come across with that offers the same earnings that I can make.

On a local forum I discovered Bitcoin and how to make money with it and it offered nice returns too. so what money I got as a savings I invested. I could have invested nearly all of my money but I did not because I needed some for my medical expenses. I invested in a cloudmining where I just blindly trusted a company which really has a shady background. In other words, it actually didn't have mining rigs but only uses new member's money to pay the old ones until of course it collapsed because it basically was a ponzi scheme.

Luckily I have gotten all of my money before the "company" collapsed and then I used those money for my medical needs because at that time, I have no more money to spend. But I did earned a bit and that I used to join another paid-to-surf investment site that also capitulated with the same basic ponzi scheme. But I did have gotten my money back from it and some profit and told myself to never look back again.

It was not by greed why I have joined these scam sites. One reason is that my desperation to earn some because I am worried for myself due to my need to pay hospital bills. I have no work and can't work and those sites are the only place that I can make some earnings possible. Another reason why I joined such sites which at first didn't believed that they were scams is that I trusted too much which now I painfully learned to never give out like you are Santa Claus in Christmas day handing out gifts to nice children but just to be extra cautious to whom you will give your trust to or you will regret it.
