Dear Diary: My Ringing Ear Ruins The Peace Of The Night For Me

I often would just resort to going to sleep or if I am wide-awake just watch some videos, movies, stream music, or write a blog just to turn my attention off from my ringing ear.

It just ruins the silent night that I prefer to be awake into because I like silence and peace. But if I would only here a profound ringing, it is really a type of torture to me and it is frustrating and sad, it makes me angry too.

I first encountered this abnormal sensation in my ear when I accidentally overdosed myself with aspirins because of my headache which at that time is originating from my failing Kidney.

I also believed that it worsened my Kidney function although I know that my Kidney function is already in its death spiral.

I still have some kidney function and I was able to recover from my ringing ear. Then after a few years my ringing ear disorder went from mild to a very uncomfortable level which I wrote about a few times already and I do think that maybe this condition is permanent because it doesn't improve as months passes by.

I am afraid that maybe due to my Leontiasis that my hearing got impaired but I am sure that if that is the reason my hearing won't get worse as I know that my medicine seems to be working for me because of the changes in my facial bone as it shrunken a bit rather than continue to grow.

The ear has the smallest bone in the body and it is the thing that is responsible for hearing that is why it is susceptible to damage if there is a current bone demineralization going on in the body due to hyperparathyroidism.

That is why even though my medicine affects my appetite and that it is awfully expensive I am continuing to take it everyday along with my phosphate binder in order to not exacerbate or control my parathyroid.

That is just what I am thinking about my ringing ear condition and I just pray that it won't again get worse because I am afraid to lose anymore of my body's normal functions. May God help me.
