Dear Diary: My Bitter-Sweet Soft Tofu Story

It is both sweet and not so yummy because if not for the brown sugar caramel this soft tofu wouldn't be so pleasant to eat. When I was younger and my father was around and we would buy and eat this food with my siblings, he would jokingly say that it is a dog vomit so I would get discouraged to eat it but would eat it anyway but with less enthusiasm because a kid would believe sometimes what adults tell them.

Now I realized that my father just did a terrible thing telling us that it was a dog vomit because for one thing he could have bought us some with his own money and not ours and he should have encouraged us to eat more of it because of its nutritional value. So it is just my bad feelings about it regarding my father being an ass.

Before dialysis sometimes I would have some of this because it is indeed a good protein source because it is a soy product. It will also give me some bad after effects like a raised urea in my blood so I do not eat this food a few or even a day before dialysis because my blood would get filled with urea as a by product of eating meats and other protein sources.

I am keen on my diet although I have to eat much but then gain I have to control it because eating had a by product and that is getting filled with toxins when our body's cells process the proteins that we eat and produce unwanted toxins that if not removed will poison us slowly. So it is just good to have a bit of everything in moderation even for normal people with no illnesses.
