In this video we can learn how to make our own leather shoes using a piece of leather. It is not really that complicated to do and all we have to work on is tracing our foot and marking where we have to cut because we will just make a sole-less shoe with no rubber below the shoe.
The main thing that we have to remember is to cut a one piece leather shoe with enough allowance so that the shoe will fit snug to our feet. Maybe if we want to put something in the shoe before we put it on like a natural insulation like hay or additional leather then we just have to adjust accordingly.
Alternatively we may also have to put wooden soles which can be fasted by some leather strings via putting holes in the wood for the reason of extra protection against the ground. This is an excellent project to do if we just want to try it for an interesting bushcraft that really is useful both for practical and fashionable use.
