Dear Diary: I Love Grunge Music By Kurt Cobain

It is Kurt Cobain's birthday today, if you do not know him he is the leader of the Grunge genre Music "Nirvana." I love the music of Nirvana and I fell in-love with the group after my brother had introduced me to their song like the "Smells like Teen Spirit", "Lithium", "Rape Me", etc.

Kurt Cobain's raspy solid voice is non like other especially his songs which actually concentrates on the music itself like the melody and such rather than the lyrics which I believe is just made after the music itself was created.

It was my brother who got me hooked-up on music because he was the one taking home these cassette tapes which we played on our cassette radio players here at home. After that I was made to get the liking of hearing the music of Nirvana's albums which I never get tired of listening to.

Then as I was beginning to really like Nirvana Kurt Cobain had committed suicide because of his drug use that was caused by factors that we never would really know including the controversy of CPS taking his sole child because he and his wife Courtney Love was said to be allegedly not fit to take care of their child because they are both drug users. It might be one of the reason the he committed suicide aside from suffering from depression.

Now he is gone forever and almost all bands from his era got swept under the rug after he was gone and I just missed those years in the 90's where lots of bands are born which inspired lots of people to form bands and made a lot of youngsters to enjoy rock music from slow rock to death metal, very nostalgic indeed.
