Dear Diary: I Hope That Steemit Add More Features

There are so many lacking in the steemit website which is the reason or factor I think that it is not attracting much people in this platform. But maybe in the future if steem would get more valuable with its price than steemit would be able to hire more devs to make the steemit site a feature-rich social media site.

Notifications and private messaging are one of the features that I wanted to be added as well as an app for Android. I often lose track of my friends here especially if they do not drop-by my ugly blogs and then I would just forget their usernames.

It happens to me alot so right now I just have to leave the steemworld.org site tab open so that I could get some notification for mentions and follows.

A notification sent to an email or mobile number should be a good addition and I know that it might use some resources but it is a great way to enhance engagement and socializing in this community.
