Dear Diary: I Felt Refreshed After Sleeping Today And My Small Wet Towel Helped
Today as I was watching a movie I felt the urge to sleep, that is what I am waiting for so I just slept. The small wet handkerchief that I was applying on my skin helped because it made me comfortable because it acted as a heat sink and took away most of my body's heat off.
I think everyone should do it if they are so uncomfortable already with the hot weather like I felt yesterday after coming home from my dialysis. But today is another day, another bout of hot weather that I must battle through and endure the discomfort it brings to me.
But now I know how to counter it and none other than a small wet towel application plus an electric fan blowing on it to help with the cooling factor. There is an evaporative cooling fan that is sold online, it uses water and a membrane to which the air passes through and then the cold air goes out to cool a person sitting or lying in front of it.
It is not good for humid weather but for dry climates it is ideal. But I think it is good to use in the night time here because it is not so humid during the night and might help me with my sleep as well. I might consider buying it in the future.
Oh, hot dry summer is terrible, but cold humid winter is awful too. I hate cold, and i always need heating and many warm clothes Brrr:(
I live near 2 seas, and it's always wet here, and when it's cold, it feels much colder!
