Dear Diary: I Am The Most Not Anemic Among Dialysis Patients

The last Complete Blood Count (CBC) test I had showed that I had a very "red" blood, in fact the nurses would have to flush the blood lines 300 mL instead of 100 mL of saline solution and still the remaining thinned-out blood in the blood lines is still red and it just shows that I am not anemic which I am so, so very thankful for to God for that miracle.

There Was A Time That My Hemoglobin Was In The Heart-Hurting 60 Level

I quite still do not understand why I am not anemic because my kidneys are not working anymore and they do not produce the hormone responsible for my bone arrow to produce the blood that my body needs. That is one mind-boggling thing that is happening in my life and I just consider it to be a miracle.

Blood Is Flowing Like A River In Me

Funny enough that I am maybe the only one that is considering that it is indeed a miracle. Now I am not worrying about where to get my blood for my needed blood transfusions because there is no need for that anymore.

A long time ago I was going back and forth to government officials and in the capital Manila just to request for an injection to raise my blood level. It was quite pitiful for me to do so because with all that hard work I would get a couple of EPO injection but the expense to get it is near the cost of those medicines and government officials just gives money that is not really that much.

The Ability To Sleep Is One Of The Things Solved In My Life

Now that my anemia is solved I am at least can eat and enjoying it at some point although I could not eat that much because of my appetite loss issue but nonetheless it is not like everything tastes like paper anymore. And of course not being anemic anymore made me have the ability to sleep again after many years of suffering from insomnia.
