Pomegranate Is One Of My Favorite Fruits

I few days ago I stumbled upon these grafted fruiting trees which are actually clones of a single mature trees. I just thought of if only I have an extra land or lot these fruiting trees will serve me a good deal of variety of fruits all year-round.

Too bad that will not gonna happen soon because I have no more extra lot to use as it was converted already into a bakeshop-store and then into a house for my sister. Now we only have a 1x3 space where it is not conducive to planting because the soil in it is not fertile and only a balimbi tree grows plus some malnourished vegetables.

I want Some Kind Of Berries In My Future Garden Too

It is just nice to dream about it where in the morning I will get out to that garden full of fruiting grafted trees no taller than my current height of less than five feet. Then I will just see if I can pick one fruit or two in that day and eat it under the shade of a Eucalyptus tree which is a fast-growing tree that also serves as an insect repellent.

A Low-lying Mango Tree Is An Excellent Fruiting Tree To Own As Well

The above grafted fruits are just some of the ones that I wanted to plant if God wills it for me in the future. So if I am able to own a lot that I can plant some of them them and then enjoy their fruits and shade.

I think it will be possible to achieve them only with God's help so I am still dreaming about it all and it is not so bad to dream because it gives us the inspiration to live this life with hope and excitement and at least make us feel the need always of what the future holds for us.

If you have a little space but are concerned about the soil quality, you might want to look into aquaponics. Basically it's where you have some growing containers that are elevated filled with small rocks (smooth or volcanic like is used for landscaping) and a low container with some goldfish or larger species if you are interested in eating them. Then you can just get a small water pump that takes the water from the fish to the highest container and it gravity feeds back through all the plants back to the fish. The fish provide nutrients to the plants, and the plants and rocks filter the water keeping the fish healthy and happy! I used to run a small system and it was surprising how well it worked.

That is a good idea @theb0red1 but the small lot that I have here at the back of the house doesn't give much sunshine so I have to give that into consideration. My brother is what I learned doing aquaponics and I will have to ask him about that project of his.

Yes that is something to take into consideration. My small system that I had was pretty small, about 3'x6' and was in shade for about half the day. I grew tomatoes, eggplant, okra, and a couple other veggies I can't remember right now. Some did better than others because of the shade issue but it was still a fun project!

The last time i tried sustaining a garden, it was ruied. Maybe because i did not have much time for it or because i am still yet to understand and learn how to handle a garden back then
