One very good effect on health by vitamin C is that it prevents you from catching cold. It is also a very good thing to take vitamin C if you want to heal faster with your wounds so if that is the case then Vitamin C could also have such a more benefits to health that we do not know about.

I often attribute my longevity with vitamin C because of its protective effects as well to my body's cells since I do not urinate anymore, the extra vitamin C just circulates in my system and thereby prevents other ailments like coronary artery blockage and other cancers which I believe I won't get for the said reason, at least that is my belief since vitamin C really protects cells.

I could not remember when I did caught a cold or even the flu and I did recommended it to my father after seeing him get the cold and so he also took some regularly and also never caught the cold after that. Only I just see him manifest the telltale signs of dementia but that is another story.

But my mother doesn't take it anymore because of her gastric issues probably because of her too much of drinking water everyday because at one time the doctor told her to drink many glasses of water everyday and it stayed with her until now.

There are many good benefits of vitamin C aside from preventing of catching colds and for a faster of wound healing like a better absorption of iron from foods is one benefit which will make you have more energy and also give you a sense of a better well-being especially if you combine it with iron supplements.

If possible, try to get your hands on some liposomal vitamin C. It is dramatically better absorbed by the body compared to plain old ascorbic acid pills.

When it comes to vitamins, always go for the more bio-available version.

Yes it could be better to take other forms of vitamin c if one can afford it.

I make green smoothies every day, so I get my vitamin C that way. A couple of years ago I was taking high-dose vitamin C supplements every single day, and I still got a cold. So maybe it has to be natural vitamin C.

I love orange juice and thats my main source of vitamin C. It is very important mostly in my country for the winter season and flu.
