Celebrating my 17,000 STEEMPOWER Today
I've just reached 17K steem power today and I am happy for it. It took me about more than two years in building and investing my blood, sweat and tears in collecting my steem power for one reason is also to advocate that powering up just supports the price as it makes a scarcity and thus making its price go up. Well if only all are doing it and not selling then we will be in a better position right now.
The only thing that is saving steem right now is that we have bright and talented developers that believes that steem is solving human problems like making a "Tribe" niche for example that would make people really feel that they belong plus getting recognition for their work easily.

For now I am still collecting steem power and powering it up because for eavery post I am doing I am at least getting 5 steempower which is great because I am doing multiple steem posts per day and if steem goes up to $1 per steem then I will be in a better position because I had basically spent my time earning it and collecting which would pay me dividends when price valuation goes in the positive direction.
It is just good that I like posting my blogs because that is what I am good at with my own standards so I will just most of the time to power up 100% so that in the future I will be proud of myself that I did the best thing to do. Right now I am spending my earned money, my savings and if that gets depleted is only the time I would cash out my steems and other tokens.
All investment that I am doing is for my surgery goals because I am now only relying on blogging so that I could collect more funds which is proving to be hard as it eats most of my time. It is okay still because I am enjoying it but I know that soon steem will rise when Bitcoin goes up as many are predicting.

You have done fantastic to reach 17,000 SP! I wish everyone was powering up and holding their STEEM. The price is just ridiculous right now. It is discouraging to only see pennies for posts that you worked hard to create. But we're still here, so there is hope.
Yes it is hard to earn steem because of its price and at the same time we earn more steem because of it cheap price. I will just continue to collect until I needed it or if the price goes up @blueeyes8960 :)

17k sp is a great number. Congratulations. That must feel like a great accomplishment. I'm wondering if I should buy more steem at this crazy low price but I have no actual fiat to spend lol

Yes Sir. With one dollar per steem I am already happy, with 2 dollars it is really awesome already and with 8 dollars I will be flying @old-guy-photos :D
