Beware: Aluminum Cookware Users Please Be Aware

in #philippines7 years ago (edited)

I have ordered online a kind of beneficial talc-like substance that is beneficial for both its insect-killing action and killing bacteria and parasites from our guts. This is called a diatomaceous earth which is a skeleton of ancient planktons that are mined for their industrial and health use and turned into powder and it comes in a food grade and non food grade form.

An example of a Diatom

The food grade form can be consumed in carefully measured doses with meals for both humans and livestock and will get rid of harmful bacteria and parasites from digestive tracts and at the same time it would also absorb harmful heavy metals that makes me ill like aluminum for that matter especially for people who uses bare aluminum as their cookware.

These diatoms are like a microscopic shards of glass and because of that it eviscerates bacteria and parasites and in turn kills them. It also have a positive charge that attracts heavy metals and aluminum from our gut and absorbs it to its microscopic honeycomb structure pores where it stores the harmful substances and then we just eliminate it out via our normal bowel movement.

The industrial application of a non-food grade diatomaceous (Meaning "Full of Diatoms") earth are many, like for example its insect-killing application where it sticks to the exoskeleton and joints of the insect where it creates minute pores and perforations which dehydrates the insects thereby killing them. That in turn is useful to utilize as a non-toxic pesticide for plants and vegetables and for home insecticide to eradicate cockroaches, dust mites, and bed bugs from our furnitures and also, a healthy ticks and fleas killer for our pets.

Never heard of it before. Thanks for sharing! 😊

Yes it is better than activated charcoal as it has detoxifying effect provided that we use it carefully.

yay, I have diatomaceous earth in my cupboard. I actually got a hair test done to detect heavy metals. They found mercury, lead & aluminum among other things. I am currently trying to detox those heavy metals & heard diatomaceous earth is a great way to get rid of heavy metals. You just have to make sure you replace any minerals it takes with it like vitamin c, zinc, magnesium etc.

Thank you for sharing your experience @kaykunoichi
Let us know if you finally got rid of those heavy metals using diatomaceous earth.

Nice to read this post and learned something new today.

Learned new on here, thanks.

It's the best detoxifier.

I've also heard of diatomaceous earth being used to kill bedbugs

Yes it does.
