#Club 100 | Passing $100,000 Professional Trading Challenge | Reaching Targets after Falling to Bottom

This week was amazing for me in terms of my personal milestone because it will lead me to have a better life and spread easiness to others. I am going to share my journey of Professional Trading Challenge that I have passed in this week. This challenge is special because I was at the brink of failure when I started it. I kept the faith and stick to my strategy and finally hit the targets on Friday and passed the challenge. So it can serve as little motivation for those who just give up too early.
Most of you might not know what is a professional trading challenge, so I am going to brief you about the challenge. There are Prop Firms that provides talented traders with capital to trade and give them profit share. We have to pass their challenge in order to get a funded account which company offers. I have taken this challenge that started in last month.
I applied for $100,000 trading account challenge where I have to make at least 10% profit in one month that is $10,000. Some of you might think that making 10% on $100,000 account is easy as cream but this is not the fact. There are certain rules that we have to follow while trading the challenge. We cannot go above 5% or $5000 drawdown on a single trading day. If our account reaches a total drawdown of 12% or $12,000, you will fail the challenge which means if the account goes below $88,000 balance, it will be over.
The challenge was started with bad week and I was in losses and this is where people start to get panic and give up. This was not the case with me because I have been practicing and trading from years and I knew that my method will work eventually. You can see the below screenshot of my trading account where losses are way more than profit trades in the 1st week.
The 2nd week also started with losses and my challenge account went to almost total loss limit and about to fail. The balance reached $88,300 and I was only left with $300 margin to play with and game was almost over. Then I started playing slowly and started recovering the account and it took me few days to get the account back to $94,000 balance and account started to breath.
At this time, the time dead line was also approaching and only last week was left that had 5 trading days. In order to pass the challenge, I had to make $16,000 in this time frame. It was almost impossible but I had to bring the best out of me to make it happen.
The last week started and I started placing trades after confirming my trade parameters and profits started coming. I was able to make $9500 profits in the 4 days and there were $6500 still to be made on last day of the week which is Friday.
I was hoping that Gold would move good because that was needed if I had to go in full to pass the challenge. I saw a classic gold move and placed my trades and they hit my profit targets in the evening taking my account to $110,001. The last 2 trades were so perfect that I was overwhelmed and decided to share this story with my steemit fellows.
Please have a look at my trading account challenge statistic charts and numbers. You would see how the graph has went to the bottom and then it came back in profit zone and hit the targets. This is classic example of rising after falling to the bottom and I am proud of myself that I achieved this target.
Passing the $100,000 trading challenge has pushed myself one step closer to getting funded account and when it will happen, It will be great because I will be able to get profit share by the company. This will eventually help me achieve my financial goals and it will be reward of my professional trading skills that I have worked so hard in these past years.
