In just over a day, Litecoin has gone up from just over $140 USD up to 240$. In short, if you're holding Litecoin right now you probably feel like this:
What's causing the sudden increase?
A lot of new blood has been getting into Crypto lately. Coinbase is the number one app in the App Store/Google Play and they are getting 50,000+ new members a day. Every new comer starts with Bitcoin - but Bitcoin is just the start. It's a gateway drug to other cryptocurrencies and Litecoin has been marketed as the Bitcoin Jr. At the price of $17,000+ USD people think they might be too late to buy Bitcoin and get rich.. then they see the price of Litecoin and jump in.
There has also been a lot of hype and good news around Litecoin. Charlie Lee has been getting a lot of face time in the media as well. Check out his interview with Glenn Beck(if you can stand Glenn Beck):
Think this is just another pump and dump?
After a 50% increase in 24 hours I do expect to see a small pullback - but it will likely continue to hit new ATH's every other week. In closing:

Personally, I don't care much what the upside predictions are... as long as it is up. Those that say $500, $1,000 or even $3,000 during 2018 are probably just guessing, but I like the optimism. I'm in at $77 and going long!
I got in two weeks ago at $93 and the again at $89 USD. This coin has posted solid gains in the past 72 hours and hopefully continues to trend up for a long, long time.
2018 is the Year for Litecoin. With the speed of transactions and small fee's it's going to be the powerhouse. It's already 4000% for the year this year. MOON
Hopefully we can hit 2k by the end of next year
That would be something amazing. If they can get the right news and some new online takers it would completely change the game!
