Steemit forces socializing, the same way PokemonGo forces excersize.
Im level 24 on pokemon, and have 65 steem power on steemit and im a happier person from both of these activities.
When I first joined Steemit I was all about just up voting content that I saw value in on the new page. I got in on a few articles early that went to the top of trending and discovered how minimal my gains were, So I decided to start commenting on new page content that I found value in. Normally I'm not to much of a social butterfly, But Steemit Incentived it. Now I'm spending alot of time on social media for the first time since Myspace... And helping promote a Chatroom for MinnowsUnite, That I get mobile notifications to my phone and staying very active in it.
Its clear to me that these comments are earning far more then my Upvotes ever will. Hmm.. the build up to the success of both of these began with the cold war. The way people began to distrust one another, isolating themselves and becoming recluses.
Avoiding healthy meals with fast food, and becoming more withdrawn with the unhappy nature of their physical appearance.
