Raising funds for Wikipedia through Steemit
I want to support Wikipedia buy blogging here. I already made a post about it.
I am planning to make a series of posts, in French and English, and by this end of next week make a donation. We'll see if my rewards can participate significantly in the donations.

Great Idea, I have done the same for a rainforest habitat charity and the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors , just a shame that the steem price is so low at the moment and no SBD. You can have my meager upvote though.
I actually appreciate more the comment than the vote. Don't give up on yours too. You can always try again or differently.

As long as wikipedia is blocking the german Steemit entry (for missing relevance) I don´t think many from Germany will support this request...

@bealinchen made a 1to1 translation of the existing english article about steemit. Someone from Wiki wants the article to be deleted because of "missing relevance" to a global wiki. No further information.
I read how hard it can be to make an article on Wikipedia. I guess the way it is "governed" has a lot of flaws. But me, what I hope to pay for is the access and the maintenance of that access to what have been produced so far. I still think it sucks though.
