In my last article I wrote about using the ancient method of loci, in order to create a memory palace in which you can place memories and improve your long-term memory.

In the article I talked about using a particular route into and around a local park. In this video I walk the route I discussed, trying to remember the random list I generated; in order to give you a visual representation of what I was talking about.

As a reminder the list was:

  1. Tennis Ball
  2. Nike Running Shoe
  3. Purple Space Hopper
  4. BMX Bike
  5. A Slug
  6. Tall Measuring Beaker
  7. Cheese Burger
  8. The Lincoln Memorial
  9. A Box Of Biro Pens
  10. A Vampire
  11. Red Rose
  12. Dozen Eggs
  13. Dishcloth
  14. Small Brown Puppy
  15. Bottle Of Aftershave
  16. Glass Table
  17. Rug
  18. 3 Wine Glasses
  19. Albert Einstein
  20. Can Of Coke

WHAT IS YOUR MEMORY LIKE? DO YOU STRUGGLE TO MEMORISE CERTAIN THINGS? EVEN IF IT IS GOOD WOULD YOU LIKE TO IMPROVE IT? DID YOU TRY THE EXERCISE ABOVE?

AS EVER, LET ME KNOW BELOW!

Awesome post friend.
I like your all content because your content type and quality is so good.
best of luck go ahead friend.

I find these memory building methods fascinating and promising! I read both posts but haven't tried it myself - I've filed it away for something to return to when I have a little more bandwidth.

Coolio, I know you're crazy busy with commissions at the mo :-) The great thing about this method is it really doesn't take that much to learn. You'll find you have amazing success on the first try and it just gets better from there :-)

ok good encouragement ;-)

Great video @cryptogee! Tell minigee she did great as well! How would you apply this to remembering people's names?

Would love to hear your thoughts on my recent super fun vlog/article: How To NOT Feel Like S#*$ In the Morning [PART I]. I had a ton of fun creating it today!

Haha, thanks @axios! With names it can be a little trickier, and I'm doing an article for that specifically, however if you can make their name into something that sounds like them and is memorable. So Ruth Ellis becomes a huge letter 'L' on a roof making a list, or something.

I will check out your vlog, thanks for your comments! :-)

Interesting! I'll definitely be checking out that future article. Names are a tough one, would be great to have a process for that!

Good content I always follow your new. I hope you will follow my account if possible. I am waiting for your news
