Ransomware, Maersk affected, Bitcoin woes

So basically, these attackers will ask you to send them a specific bitcoin amount to a provided address. Well, these addresses can never be tracked down since ofcourse, the network is decentralised.

Maersk woes;
Maersk is a shipping company that has most recently come into the light after a cyber attack hit their network. The Ransomware was demanding for bitcoin to be sent forward.

It still remains unclear how this is going to play out globally....
