My Magic Dice Strategy to win Steem!

in #steem7 years ago

Hey guys! I'd just like to begin by saying that statistically, gambling results in loss, so only gamble with what you can afford to lose. Despite this, I've had a lot of fun playing Magic Dice

My Strategy

As you can see, for most of them I do the double when you lose trick.
Basically, you start off with a small amount of steem. I had a total capital of about 200 Steem, so I had to lose 7 times in a row to lose most my money starting with a 2.5 Steem bet.

Luckily for me, I never lost more than 7 times in a row so I was able to profit a fair bit. This strategy is low risk and low reward.

Another similar strategy is to simply bet all your capital at the minimum multiplier (*1.04). Statistically, you need to bet 18 times to double your money, and statistically, there's only a 32% chance you'd last that long. So, calculating it like that you have a 32% to double your money and 68% to lose all your money. That is statistically not very good.

Doing it the double each time you lose way, statistically is a lot better. The chances of doubling your money really depends on what you roll, and what multiplier you set it at. For example, I am a bit greedy and set mine to more than times 2, but I suggest you stay around 2 to 2.1 to minimise risk.

However, just like everything you need to know when to stop and set aside some of your winnings so you don't end up losing everything. If you just keep throwing all your winnings in, eventually you're gonna lose it all no matter how good your luck is.

REMEMBER: Casinos aren't scared of you winning, they're scared of you not coming back!

I do the double when you lose trick.

Or you could just call it martingale.

I had a total capital of about 200 Steem, so I had to lose 7 times in a row to lose most my money starting with a 2.5 Steem bet.

As provided in the video: In 200 throws of a coin there is a 80% chance that there will be a 7 streak.

This strategy is low risk and low reward.

In conclusion, I wouldn't say that. It's absoluty risky and with a really low reward.

I would suggest, stop while you can.

That's a good point! It's low risk low reward only if you do it once or twice. Everything becomes high risk (no matter how low risk) if you do it enough times, when the expected value if a net loss.

Double down is a classic strategy the trick is to start with a small amount so you can survive longer loss series.
