my first D.tube video

so I am currently switching to D.tube from YouTube although I'm new to both and have a question. do i have to keep my torrent stats page up in order to allow people to view it? because I left the page and tried watching it on my iPad and it started buffering right away.
Anyway would appreciate a follow I do videos almost every other day debating on putting my old YouTube videos up takes forever for me to upload.
