Steemit is still in BETA and there are still a tons of functions missing, such as the function to embed Tweets. But there's a simple solution to solve that problem.

How to put Tweets in Steemit

 
So, you may ask yourself, if there is no embedding option in Steemit yet, how can we put Tweets into our steemit posts?
As with most things in life, you have to do a small "hack". It is really easier than you may think.

Here are some example Tweets:

You get redirected to the Tweet on Twitter. So you got the idea behind it right? You basically make a screenshot of the Tweet and link it back to the according Twitter post.

Here's how to do it:

1. Go to Twitter, take a screenshot of the tweet, you want to put into your steemit post, using a tool like windows snippet tool (we are using gyazo.com)

2. a) If you are using gyazo.com, simply copy the link of the screenshot that pops up automatically in your browser.
   b) If you are using the windows snippet tool (or any other snippet tool)-> After saving the screenshot on your harddisk, go to imgur.com or supload.com (on supload you'll earn some BTC for uploading pictures), upload the screenshot from your harddisk and copy the link to the image. If you only want to put a picture of the tweet on your steemit code WITHOUT linking it back to Twitter, then simply paste the link of the screenshot into your steemit post, that's it. If you are using gyazo.com make sure to put .png at the end of the linkaddress, otherways the image won't show up on steemit. If you wanna link the image with Twitter, please continue with the next step.
