Thanks! I enjoyed watching all of the animations too, @shanibeer.
I normally stay well away from glue of all of types (I mean, what's the glue made from ?). The other day the cable from one of my (favourite) round needles came off leading to a few unexpected dropped stitches. I did wonder whether or not a drop of glue could fix it - could I ever trust the cable to stay in place though ?
I thought of you when I was posting this :) (although I didn't know you had a broken cable)! Maybe a very thin layer of sugru would fix the cable without impeding the stitches?
That's a photo of the round needle, @shanibeer. I'll investigate that sort of glue and will report. Below is a photo of the hat I was making. Since then I found another needle; I was possibly pulling it a bit too much when shifting the stitches :D
