I've traded Verge and had good profits but there were so many shady things related to that coin. I still don't know if it's legit or not. I've seen lots and lots of complaints that it's all marketing/hype and 0 anonymity + the constant delays aren't good too. I guess it would be around a few cents still without the McAfee hype.
Don't worry about BAT, it will be solid. It is a must to go up in price or else businesses won't make enough money. Just as STEEM/SBD have gone up but in this case top media companies, newspapers and influencers will work to make that happen instead of a lot of relatively small bloggers/vloggers(compared to them). That's why I believe in a $10-$50 long term BAT price. Imo, it's inevitable. If BAT would really struggle, they would just start to pump up the price/advertise it in front of millions of people to get 2-3-4-5-6-10x from ad revenues from that point. They have around 4k publishers atm, they want to drastically increase that(Brendan was clear about this+seemed confident) + the possibility of Pewdiepie advertising it is also huge news. He showed a BAT article in one of his videos when he talked about YouTube demonetization problem and he seems to be up for alternatives. Well, he has to, Google Adsense gives $0 to him for many videos.
