The crypto market is down right now across the board, but positive news came out of Coinbase today with their announcement that they will be working to add ERC20 token support to Coinbase products in the future. While this could take many months, maybe even a year or so, I think this will be massive news for the cryptocurrency investment space when the time comes. The addition of ERC-20 tokens to the Coinbase ecosystem is very exciting news as it opens to a world of possibilities and also engages one of the most active exchanges into new territory. It also has the potential to clarify some regulation as they seek guidance to ensure adequate due diligence listing assets that are not considered securities.
