The Problem With Stackers... An Encounter w/ a Precious Metal Stacker 🔥
Two Words...Cognitive Dissonance
The problem with paradigm shifts is that 99% of the people are late to the realization that it has happened, and one of the reasons is because of a term called cognitive dissonance.
As this relates to the advent of Cryptocurrencies, and in particular Bitcoin, it seems that many (not all) precious metal supports have fallen into this psychosis.
Precious Metal supports believe that the Fiat Monetary System is a wealth-sucking parasite that steals from the poor and middle class and gives to the wealthy; they believe that a true monetary system should be based on a resource that is limited by nature, portable, divisible, acceptable and uniform - but for some reason many of them despise us crypto people!!! I can't understand it for the life of me!
The Encounter
So on yesterday I was commenting on a youtuber's video regarding a new crypto ICO and I see comments saying that the interviewer had "lost his way". I then respond to the individual to simple stop watching the guy and that would solve your angst. He then tells me to f*^k off and proceeds to ask me how my cryptos were doing? - like the recent pull back is a reflection of the widely outperformance since the inception of Bitcoin/Cryptos (people have such short memories).
What stackers fail to realize is that we are fighting the same fight. Crypto supporters want to do away with centralized governments having full reign over their money as well. I truly believe that we are the catalyst to the dismantling of Central Banks, a catalyst that was not present until us.
We have the ability in the near future to replace the Comex and possible - for once! - give Precious Metals an arena to be priced fairly and transparently.
Bitcoin's Outperformance of Gold
This chart should tell you what the Free-market thinks...
Feedback/Questions
- Will Gold ever catch up to Bitcoin?
- Will Bitcoin be able to "set Gold Free" from it's price suppression?
- Are PM Stackers looking at Bitcoin from the wrong perspective?
I can see the value of having both (and I do in small amounts). However, I agree with you that crypto-currencies have the most potential for growth. Very few of the world's poor can buy silver or gold... but they could get, hold and trade with crypto-curriencies. That alone should give an idea of the potential growth as billions more people come online in the next few years.
Yes I agree.. like I own some PMs too but going forward I simply don't see how they will "disrupt" what monetary system we currently have.. it's just not possible! Something to the liking of Crypto will lead the way on that endeavour.
