Blockchain technology has revolutionized the way we see government currency monopolies. Currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum have shown us that we don’t need to rely on central governing powers to transfer money around the globe, maintain financial privacy/security, and verify ownership.

The global financial system is changing and the role of cryptocurrencies within this system has long been filled with hopes, questions, and plenty of risks. However, it’s finally becoming clear that blockchain could be the heart of a wide variety of decentralized infrastructures, including everything from cloud databases and social media platforms to mesh networks and share economies.

Rebellious are seeking to reinvigorate the e-commerce market with new blockchain alternatives, make e-commerce transactions easier for the customer. Transactions will be easier and more efficient and are intended to be applied to e-commerce platforms like Prestashop, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.

Rebellious intends to create a true community in order to encourage mass adoption in the consumer market. Rebellious are not simply trying to undertake an ICO to sell tokens to a bunch investors, but are actually seeking to reward those members who will help build the community over time as part of the token distribution process.

I spent some time recently reading through the Rebellious Whitepaper and was quite impressed with the way in which they are proposing to do their token distribution. It is very different from most other ICO’s that I have seen.
Tokens will be distributed as follows:

• 250.000.000 tokens will be airdropped to the community.
• 50.000.000 tokens will be given as rewards to the community. Rewards will be given for completing specific tasks that help Rebellious grow. These tasks will be curated by the Rebellious team and all community members have the chance to earn more tokens as rewards. Rewards will be given out over 12 months until December 2018.
• 50.000.000 tokens will be used to pay external costs. Such as paying for exchange listings, external development, exhibitions, etc. Any tokens left over by December 2018 will be funnelled into Rewards and redistributed among the community.
• 26.200.000 tokens will be reserved for unexpected costs.
• Any tokens left over by December 2018 will be redistributed among the community in amounts of 2000 REBL.
• 19.800.000 tokens will be reserved for the Rebellious team as a form of salary in the future.
