Tour guide for the day

Today I had some Chinese business contacts spend the day with me. They wanted to visit a list of stores to get an idea of what and how they could fit in.

Businesses have changed drastically over the last 5 years and it became paramount today. Gone are the days of seeing everything made in China but locally produced or imported from Europe. There was the odd item that had their made in China on it but businesses are moving away from those days.

That is fantastic news for me as I do think out the box and had answers and ways to beat the local products. i have two factories at my fingertips which would jump into bed with them tomorrow. Business is business and forming an alliance is the way forward. This way one would by pass import duties and transport costs and without all the middleman land a decent sized profit.

We sat discussing the Chinese America situation and the Chinese are not sitting back. manufacturing businesses are setting up in South Korea now and hitting the States from that angle. I will learn more tonight over dinner but I found this fascinating how things can change that quickly. The Chinese aren't stupid and there must be a loophole somewhere.

A tiring day .but very fascinating getting different insights. We both learnt a lot on how to beat the systems and what needs to happen. I am off to dinner now as a thank you for being their guide today.

Very cool that you were able to spend this time with them and gather the insight that you did. I often wish I had a job that gave me a boarder world view. I guess that is what I have Steemit for right?

I agree. The insight that I had today and tonight was remarkable. Will do another post about what they can and can't do in China. This group already have a factory in Kenya. Things move quickly when restrictions and duties are forced on you. Tried to get a food blog post done tonight ,but we sat outside with candle lights and wasn't great for photo work. Real, bummer.

howdy sir cryptodandcoffee! Wow that is so interesting to be able to learn how those guys think, they are investors or business developers? They are working their way around the pressure that the United States is putting on them? They've been killing us for years on trade agreements, they're alot better than we are at that.
