STEEM IS STILL A GAME TO ME, BUT BECOMING MORE SERIOUS AS THE ACCOUNT GROWS.

Steem to me is one big game and your growth validates that you are doing something right. I have never taken money out so maybe that is why I don't see it as real as I should.

Once you cross that line and take funds out I think it changes your mindset and it becomes more serious. I may be wrong but most things in life are like that. Nothing is real until you have something to show. I will not be touching anything as it goes against everything I have done and would rather work a second job than touch my account.

It is hard enough to grow without diluting those efforts. I think I am just happy to let it be and grow especially at these prices. I still cant get my head around Steem being at $8 earlier in the year and even though I wan't here it has been an eye opener on what can happen.

Over 90% lost in value in 7/8 months is crazy but we all believe in this otherwise we wouldn't be here. In the normal world if an investment lost over 90% people would say you are crazy, but we know better than that and what is going to happen down the road.

Happy Steeming and Power up.

How do you have the time to post so much? :o

I don't really as I only post once per day. I am very active though and sacrifice loads of time for that. I haven't slept much since joining and I am hoping once big enough to relax a bit more. I am not yet there though and my first target is to become a Dolphin.

Isn't this hard to combine with a job or is this your job?

It is very hard to combine them together but I have given myself 2 years to this project. I think I will be knackered but big enough to relax by then. I do hope that one day it will be more than a passive income and who knows what Steem will be worth. I challenge myself to stupid things so this is just another one of them.

Nothing is real until you have something to show.

Far less disappointing scrapping an idea than closing down a project or shop.

I do think that just the time we put into steem and our accounts need to be assigned value, or you end up... from my experience a designer that under charges and becomes disgruntled.

Good luck with your push to grow, take lots of naps :)

That makes perfect sense and need to keep that in mind.

I kinda see it the same way - my rep score is like levelling up in a game! And there are so many different 'games' on Steem to keep us busy.

I havent taken money out of Steem either, and your right I bet it will be much more real if money hit my my bank account. At the moment its a cheap game 😅

Thanks for the encouraging reminder @cryptoandcoffee!

It's good to read about other's thoughts that have been here longer than me.

I have been here barely over two months and the price has been down the whole time, so that is the norm for me and therefore it is a game for me too. I do know people that were here when it was doing wonderfully and they did so well that they were able to take a little out, while leaving a bigger portion in and growing nicely. For myself, I have no gut feeling on whether it will do better than it is doing now again or not. I had not thought to put a goal on time like the two years you said you were investing. Maybe I should think on that.

Even though I don't have much yet, I plan to power up my tiny bit for the first time before too long. I am not in a situation where I need the funds at this time, so I plan to leave whatever bits I earn here.

It will be back but It doesn't change anything for me really as it is the growth that drives me and not the price. Price will bounce back and I am positive $8 will be nothing.

I hope you are right ! That would surely be icing on the cake.

Howdy sir cryptoandcoffee! Yes this isn't the normal world for sure, being the crypto world but I agree that to take anything out would totally undermine what we've tried to achieve, good point!

My thoughts exactly! I hope more individuals adopt this mindset.
