PAIN MANAGEMENT.
Hi everyone
Over the last few days I have been struggling with my back again. For those lucky ones who don't suffer from back issues i envy you. One can live a normal life but you have to be careful. You can do most things within reason but can't be stupid.
I have a prolapsed disc that crumbled towards the spine limiting opportunities to fix it. An operation gives a 15 percent chance of success and it's a one off. It could make it worse at the same time. I have therefore decided to live with it and manage the best way I can.
There are a number of things you can do to help your self as I have 16 years of experience controlling and learning what to do. Once you are having pain it is already too late and have to seek treatment to stabilize the area. This involves finding a Chiropractor who will become your best friend over time. he will know what to do and it normally takes me 3 treatments to stabilize the area.
A bed is very important and is key to assisting you and your pain management. Last year I developed a bed building website that builds a bed for you and your particular problem. I will be running this out when I can find a reliable manufacturer. I have the spring specialist on board and have made quite a few already for back patients. I feel this will do well as a business going forward as more and more people seem to have issues with their backs and bed companies just want sales. There is nothing specific for your needs. I am really passionate about this and know it will do very well.
I have learnt to rest my back when it starts to stiffen and I don't recommend it unless you know what you are doing. I have had years of physios and chiro's so I have learnt when I need to reset. I also recommend a service with a Chiropractor every 6-8 weeks to keep everything stabilized.
Keeping your body fairly trim by not having a tummy is also an advantage as it helps with posture. I suppose not having a Steemit account would also help as time flies on here and you mustn't sit in one spot for too long. Common sense comes too mind quite often as your body will tell you when something is not right.
Flying on long flights is an issue and I normally stand and walk quite a bit. I don't normally do stopovers and find the most direct flight possible. last year when I flew to London I must have stood for about 7 hours and sat for around 3 hours. Everyone will be different but you must know what works for you.
If any of you suffer from a bad back remember you are not alone.
howdy today @cryptoandcoffee! wow this is a great post and congratulations for getting a bed design completed, that will have to help alot of people! I need one of those desks that rise up so I can stand part of the time. thank you sir! I'm recharging my vote today it's at 50% sorry.
I feel for yah. Pain sure is no joke. Trust me when i say some have it worse. Couple things id like to mention... have you tried kratom for pain? It seems to do very well with back pain. Also have you checked into stem cell therapy? Another one to check out is Serrepeptase. Blessings

I try not to take anything for pain. This time I was stupid and didn't listen to the warnings. I have just been too busy with work. I am hoping that it will have settled again by next week and can then get back to managing it again. The last run was good as I haven't felt this pain for around a year. I have had one of my beds and that has helped a lot.
I feel ya on not taking anything for pain. I try to stay all natural which is why i shared what i did. Kratom is in the coffee plant family and Serrepeptase is a plant enzyme. Serrepeptase helps majorly w inflammation.
A whole year wow that is great! What type of beds are you using/making? Do you have a link. Good chiros can be life savors, great suggestion.
My company is called thebedclinic.com. I started it last year and have not pushed it but slowly introduced it. Developed it with the help of my Chiro and a spring specialist. He was a founder of Restonic beds. The spring settings are key for the support. Have got some ideas to roll it out world wide. The plan is to do the settings to the requirements of each individual and put it together in kit form and compress it then roll it. It fits in a box and just need to find certain individuals dotted around with a tape edge machine. Very simple to finish it off. Works out at half the price of a top end bed. These beds are high spec and only top end materials but way less than anything on the market. Totally custom. This month I did 2 beds for road accident patients.
That is amazing! Ill definitely check out your site. Sounds like a great business venture, especially when its helping people.
That was the aim. I couldn't find a bed suitable so it took around 18 months to develop. If I can help others with the clients best interests at heart then it should do well. Have had 2 inquiries for franchising in different countries already.
You're telling me, one's back is not something to mess around with man and I hope you are getting some rest and having it seen to properly. At least you got exercise on the plane walking up and down, must have driven some other passengers nuts.

The disgusting fact about backpain is there is no cure for it.. once someone has it.. their life is as bad as curry without salt.. Medicine and exercise can only control but it never goes away 💔
