GROWING YOUR ACCOUNT

Over the last few months I have been picking up the odd share of Steem Basic Income (sbi).The reason behind this is that these are for life and a guaranteed upvote once a day on whatever your vote is worth. The more shares you hold the bigger the vote.

At the time of writing this I don't have very many but the plan is to get to the maximum level of 100 shares in a pool. If you go over that 100 share level you will then have shares in two pools and just carry on and so forth. I have 22 shares currently and they are only worth around 0.02 c a vote. Luckily @blanchy bought me 10 shares the other day forcing me to reciprocate as that is what you do so by the time I have finished I will have 42 shares. For every share you purchase for someone you receive one as well so it is like 2 shares for 1 Steem if you do the buddy system of working with a like minded person.

The pool I am in if i had a 100 shares would give me a roughly calculated vote of 0.11 c, but you can't think like that as you aren't looking forward then. In a years time for instance if Steem is $10 what would the vote be worth then? My guess would be around $1.50 which is not bad as that equates to $45 per month if you post a minimum of once per day.

There is another way to look at it as well and this is my reasoning for investing now. Steem is at 0.70 c or so and 50 sbi's are valued then at $35. The other 50 shares are coming from your mate or someone who has teamed up with you to reciprocate what you purchase for them. Therefore 100 sbi's have only cost you $35. In a years time how much would it cost you then if Steem was $10 , that would be $500. Quite a big difference and my reasoning for getting as many as I can right now. You must also ask yourself what if Steem goes to $100 then you will only have yourself to kick as the opportunity is right here right now.The aim before the end of this month is to have at least 80 shares and then soon after reach the maximum in my pool of 100 shares.
