BITING THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU

I am writing again about real things happening in the real world. Not in our little universe on Steemit but what is happening outside.

I am involved in a company that supplies services to individuals and companies on servicing items etc. We have quite a few employees in different areas of the business . Since 1994 we have had an open door policy to neighboring countries allowing them access to whatever they want. This hasn't gone down too well with the residents as it has put a strain on local jobs. Xenophobia rears it's ugly head from time to time and it does get rather violent. Quite a few foreigners get killed and it seems to disappear as soon as it has started. It is still there though bubbling under the surface.

I would estimate about 30 percent of our work force is foreign as we have never discriminated against who we hire. We will take the best candidate for the job. The foreigners seem to have a better education and a drive to succeed which is lacking with the local work force. Most of the foreigners can read and write and have computer skills. This in time moves them off the bottom rung with forms of promotion. They are cheerful ,well mannered and smart but there is a massive downside.

In the last year and a half we have been plagued with theft, not just a little here and there which you would normally find. Because of them being smart they have created companies siphoning the business away diverting customers to their businesses. This has happened not once or twice but three times now. The one thing that is consistent with all of the theft is that it is the foreign nationals doing the theft. They don't care and there is no remorse being more uoset that they have been caught.I have one left and will not employ anymore no matter how good they are . Here we are helping these people out and they are just robbing everyone blind. I agree with the locals now that 90 percent of the crimes being committed in the country are by foreign nationals.

It is now time to close the borders and anyone caught doing something wrong needs to be thrown out and not let back. I can understand the resentment building and it is a powder keg which will explode. What is happening in Europe is similar but on a bigger scale. I don't think the government here knows how many foreigners are now based in the country. As a guesstimate I would say 10 percent of the population are foreign nationals , maybe more but no one really knows.
