The Future of a blockchain world?

How will blockchain technology shape the future?

• Smart contracts, remove the middle men from business’s! We can direct customer to seller without the need for an intermediate like amazon or eBay. In a Blockchain built future we can expect smart contracts to control car lease payments, ownership of assets, property etc. We can have a peer to peer type infrastructure connecting buyers to sellers. This will give us more value for our dollar. We don’t need middle men to facilitate transactions anymore.

The road may be dirty and full of potholes, the big centralised corporations are unlikely to give up their foot hold on market dominance easily. That’s why it is important we help support, and build the ecosystem, and make these services much more desirable then the ones we have on offer to us today!

• A new age of internet, gone are centralised data bass’s, but instead we have nodes receiving tokens (monetary incentive) to store and secure our data. A Truly decentralised internet could emerge, where powerful web hosting platforms are not able to take your website down by the fashions they have in the past.

Just look at the recent debacle with Facebook selling our information! When you sign up to Facebook, you sign your right to privacy away! It’s time for a new System, where our data is secured by the power of blockchain!

• Delivery drones. Once you pay for a product via a smart contract, it picks up your package drops it off to you. Not only that, but when it’s done, it charges its self, paying for the power via tokens on the network. Perhaps the very tokens it had just earned for delivering the package. In A fully autonomous fashion! I

• Blockchain inter-operability! I don’t think we will have a “one blockchain to rule them all” type scenario, but instead we will have a web like blockchain infrastructure, that allows us to talk to and interact with all the other blockchains. This allows us to have an ever-changing space, where tech improves and people can choose what blockchains suit their needs most.

• We all know Sony and Xbox hate the resell secondary market, they wanted to make all games digital! Which would be a crying shame for those of us who enjoy getting money for our old video games. Blockchain will allow owner ship of digital assets, so you can now “own” a game digitally, therefore have the rights to resell it. This could further extend to in game items…you can actually own them as property and sell them for real world/In-game currency! Perhaps you’ve grinded a 100 hours for the golden sword of Arabia (made up artifact), but now you can sell it for real world value!

• An End to counterfeiters, RFID chips – Tiny computers can be imbedded into products! How can this be useful ? Lets take wine for an example.

“A bottle of wine needs to travel thousands of kilometres at a specific temperature, from a known source, by a specific date. All this information can be contained under the label in a RFID chip, and verified by the blockchain. If the wine spoils, you will be able to identify when, where, and on what date this occurred, as well as who might be at fault.”

• And of course, we can all become holders of our own money, you don’t need to rely on a bank to store your hard earned cash. Why is this useful? Look at poor Greece during their economic collapse, they were limited to taking out just €50 a day during that period no matter how much money they had.

The banks also just print money via quantitative easing when things get tough, leading to a currency that is worth less and less each year. Our wages can’t buy us as much, as inflation just keeps rising!

Deflationary currencies like bitcoin will only go up in value, and their are projects developing “stable coins” back by gold. Which could be used for day to day transactions! Most important of all perhaps is that this type of banking is available to all! With no long arduous sign up process’s or risks of being “denied”.
