Hello! I was watching this video of Dan explaining EOS. I am a programmer so I understand a lot of the concepts he was saying. If you are familiar with the details of crypto, you too probably understand how great this EOS project will be.

There are projects I have wanted to launch on blockchain, but what a pain it is to launch your own blockchain or try to launch an ETH token!!! I do not want to wade through C++ code for a year just to do a simple project. However, if a person has an operating system to program on top of, it makes launching blockchain apps much simpler. In many ways Ethereum is like Windows 3.1. Don't know what Windows 3.1 is? You don't want to!

EOS from how Dan describes it, it would be like Windows XP (compared to Windows 3.1) or like the first multi-threaded operating system for blockchain. It also has the correct features that developers need. Developers need to launch patches and freezes for bug fixes. Yet, do we give them complete control? It sounds like EOS strikes a balance between these two objectives, and makes that balance transparent instead of ambiguous. This is one of the reasons I liked the Tezos project. However, EOS sounds better than Tezos with features geared toward modern developers and DAPP needs.
