Aquarium Blog Project: STEEMIT STYLE!

So instead of blogging and posting about my aquarium somewhere else I'm going to do it here on Steemit!

I recently quit the Coral Reef hobby here in the U.K because of my local fish store closing. To make my life easier and not completely waste my reef tank I converted her over to a freshwater planted aquarium. This is a 40 gallon tank including the sump
which gives me a nice amount of space and set up to start breeding some dwarf cichlids and grow my plants and hopefully monetize this system! The tank will home Apistogramma's on top of the current stock. -Panduro Cichlid

-Double Red Cockatoo Cichlid

This a very cheap and easy set up and looks awesome. The care level is low, although I have hi tech equipment everything in the tank will be low maintenance and easy to care for plants and fish!

The plan on Steemit is to blog my aquariums growth and progress and eventually educate on how to enjoy the hobby but also make some money with a very easy set up! I will blog on care guides selection guides and breeding guides.

I do miss the reef tank however my fix is fully being filled thanks to this set up. I personally think it looks amazing and once the plants have grown in it will look 50x what these first few weeks have to offer!

I will talk through the prices and products used to set the tank up and provide links. Everything will be purchased via the internet including the fish. The fish in this tank are from my old tank or recently purchased off eBay (angel fish, barbs and ember tetras)

Eventually this tank will compete in online Aquascaping tournaments as I plan on adding more and more plants to create a beautiful aquatic garden!
