+In my opinion, the first thing you should do after you post your #introduceyourself post, is sign up for Steemfollower. When I first started, I authored a few posts, and thought I would have people just "come and see," boy was I wrong. I had something like $0.05 come in from my posts the first 10+ days I was on here. Then I simply did these things, and things turned around quickly. This is a marvelous platform, chucked full of excellent, talented, people who really like to see others succeed with them.

++To start, get yourself set up with an account. Then when you are logged in you will first see two search text boxes with options search. Search however you wish, whether you want to find other fellow newbies via the #introduceyourself search, talk with seasoned veterans by simply searching ALL, as the top posters on the site appear first.

+++When you are voting on here, it is best to maximize every bit of momentum as asset to your building future success. A good way to do this is read/watch/listen (to) content that peaks your curiosity, for whatever reason. Reply to the post, tell the fellow Steemit user why this post compelled you to upvote it. You and I both know we like people others being thorough when getting their explanation on a review, especially a positive one. After your commentary on your post, then leave them with a mention you found their article on Steemfollower. At the end of the post it is beneficial to leave a capitalized or bold pointed conclusion in the message describing your action done after reading the article. These would include any of the following: UPVOTE, RESTEEM, FOLLOW (if you choose to follow this person).

You will be placed in a more competitive advantageous position as the only post listed for each user listed is the most recent. You can find their other posts on the Steemit platform, but after your manual vote for their most recent post, they will not show up when you go search that person's user name. Strategy on here is simple, follow what I told you above, they recommend you to vote five times daily on the platform, with a maximum of ten. Voting ten times in one day, each day for several days in a row will lower your voting power over time, fairly quickly. Voting 5-6 times daily when your voting power starts at 100% will most likely mean your voting power each day will recover back to 100%, if that is important to you. In my opinion the best way to generate REAL contacts is to have genuine conversations, DO NOT SPAM. That will get you flagged, and that is not good at all.
