Sun Wins! You Lose!
ustin Sun is on the verge of a total victory! Sun wins and the original Steem community is in a full retreat. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, Justin Sun with his Tron Army and infinite wisdom have successfully won the fight for Steem; the rebels will be recovering in The Hive.
Steemit Inc. and Justin Sun were too powerful of a force for the original witnesses to overcome so they have decided to hard-fork the chain. In roughly 12 hours at 10am EST, The Hive will be created and everyone except Justin Sun and his loyal supporters will get some hive tokens on a 1-1 exchange with Steem, SP, SBD, etc. Justin doesn't need hive tokens, he can just buy them and take over that chain too.
While many are calling to sell short Steem and buy long Hive, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that Justin Sun will likely obtain total control over Steem in a few weeks.

It's probably better descibed as satire.
If sarcasm it is very thin to the point of being true. It would take Mr. Sun 30 days for his SPs to mature on Hive, with the new witness voting limitations in its code, yet nothing is stopping him from taking over Hive if he should choose to put resources there after a 30 day waiting period. He could come in using the sleuth of multiple accounts with no one knowing which was his and which was just another innocent investor.

I would imagine it would be easy for a billionaire to create fake accounts on hive acting like real people then eventually buy control of the hive...
Apparently there is a 30 day wait time to vote witnesses so it would be more difficult than on Steem. Also, almost 70 million Steem is being taken off the table so the hive has fewer tokens. But yes, someone could buy tens of millions of tokens, vote in their own witnesses and hard fork the chain.
I think Justin is pleased that all those with impure decentralized thoughts and ideologies are leaving.
He will have himself a chain free of independent corruptions soon enough.

I just cashed in all my steem for some Litecoin. And I've still got a little bit more steem coming after my power down is complete. 769 Steem got me 6.42 Litecoin at $34. So I'm in good shape.
If you hit that spike last night, you may be the smartest one here, if you feel like posting on Hive, you can probably buy more tokens in the future, patience Hippie and nice knowing you. If any Coronians step foot on your property, you know what to do!
