STEEM Power Up Day 2
Tomorrow, June 1st is Steem Power Up Day. The #SPUD movement was started last month and there is an initiative to have a SPUD on the first of every month. So Power Up People.

There is literally no excuse to power up, right now I have 9904 SP in my account many of it is delegated out so I can earn a return to collect even more Steem. I will be at over 10000 before SPUD 2 is over so it will likely be the topic of my next post!
Having 9904 SP puts me at #1467 in terms of account size according to https://steemitboard.com/ranking/ I have been quickly climbing the ranks and hope to be in the top 1000 one day. If Steem were US dollars even being in the richest 1,000,000 would be amazing; Steem isn't 1000 times worse than dollars amirite?
I pledged to power up at least 50 Steem on SPUD2, I hope you do too! Post a picture of your power-ups and show your support. Whatever you do, don't power down on June 1st or transfer Steem off the blockchain.

PS. I forgot to change this post to 100% power up, but all my Steem is powered up some way somehow and I have never powered down.

Consider this the announcement. You still have 24 hours unless you live in New Zealand. Cryptocurrencies are fast too. If you had to go to the bank and send a wire, I'd understand. Don't worry though, if you cant power up on June 1st, powering up any other day is almost just as good.

I enjoy optimizing the mechanics of steem too much in my favor to take advantage of spud. Ive never actually sold steem but I really like doing powerdown or using bid bots to power up. It's an addiction and spud won't satisfy it.

Everyone has their own system. Maybe you can take part in Spud at a future date after a hard fork ruins your crafty ways.

Ahh spud 1 was fun, now time for spud 2!! It’s a great initiative for the entire ecosystem and will enable smaller users to power up a little here and a little there to help with account SP distribution.
Unfortunately I don’t think I’m a go for spud 2 due to limited funds, but hopefully will be able to participate in Spud 3,4,5.....infinity and beyond

Thanks Conrad, I did buy a lot of Steem recently but will try to scrape together at least 50 liquid Steem to power up for the occasion

That's really great. So many people are excited about this day. Your ranking also tells a lot. You are among 1500 most ranked people and that's really great. Maybe they should make the ranking there depend on sp ? My ranking there is 503. I think they count that depending on the reputation we have.
I've found as well an awesome tool that show your attention in steem , here is it : https://snax.one/steem?search=crypticat , you're ranked there 400. I think it's even better because that shows your activity on steem and how many people are watching you.
Anyway, anyone who is positively active on steem deserve that attention.

On Steemit ranking you can sort by Rep or SP. Rep really means nothing, I can wash Steem through bidbots all day. Replies, comments and posts are the most important as long as they aren't Spam.
Steem needs more people like us who are active and engage. I wish I could do more. At least DApps like Partiko makes it easier to Steem on the go.
