Crowbarmama as the Little Red Hen
I've been trying to decide what my first vlog should be about. I knew I wanted to talk about gratitude. I think it's so very important and healthy to have an attitude of gratitude, but I still was putting off doing an actual vlog post.
Then today, as I was asking my kids to take some scraps out to the chickens and collect the eggs, and they were each declining, I decided to take a page out of the "Little Red Hen" story.
"Then I'll do it! And I'll get 5 minutes of peace, which is just enough time to scatter the scraps, gather the eggs, create an earth-changing vlog post and make it back before any serious chaos takes place!"
Well, 3 out of 4 isn't too bad, right?
Here it is, complete with Voldemort and Garmaddon, the roosters, chiming in!

Lovely video! I love how you used the story (with appropriate live sound effects) to reflect on how things that life sends us are often blessings - even if they don't seem that way at the beginning. Getting outside to enjoy the daylight is something I'm bad, especially in winter, but your surroundings looked so lovely that I'm inspired to go outside. Just as soon as I can drag myself away from Steemit that is ;)

So, did you make it outside? We've gone out into some sunshine for two days in a row! Whoo-hoo! I'm always a bit sad to see the snow melt, but I'm really ready to start gardening this year, so I'm actually getting a bit antsy!

Thank you. It is a great story. I often let the kids pick two books for bedtime, but Mama gets to pick the third and this is often the one! Haha!
