Global warming, a hoax? Secret documents reveal the conspiracy

in #news7 years ago

Hundreds of emails and thousands of secret documents showing that global warming is a conspiracy have been stolen from a university in England and then posted on the Internet.60265177.jpg
Old and 10-year old electronic news from well-known US and British climatologists have been discussing how skeptics' arguments on global warming can be countered.
Moreover, in the papers there are researchers' conversations about possible manipulation methods to convince the public opinion that these climate changes are more serious than they actually look.
In an exchange of emails, one of the scientists mentions the use of a statistical "trick" in making a table that demonstrates the acceleration of the planet's warming process. In another message, a researcher calls skeptics "idiots."
The correspondence between Kevin Trenberth, a climatologist at the United States Atmospheric Research Center, and other colleagues from prestigious institutions, also reveals that there are countless differences of opinion on recent temperature variations.
In addition, in one of the emails that came to light, there is evidence that the average Earth's temperature has not risen since the 1960s and the ways in which this data can be hidden. Instead, according to the Associated Press, another document shows that the temperature could rise by 6 degrees by 2100, no matter what measures it would take.
East Anglia officials confirmed the theft of documents, noting that the police is investigating the case. They could not give insurances that absolutely all data that circulates on the Internet are authentic. Several researchers contacted by the New York Times have said they are indeed the authors of electronic messages.
The emergence of these secret documents seems to be not accidental, given that Copenhagen is due to begin negotiations on an international agreement on climate change in Copenhagen next month.

Very interesting. As far as I'm concerned it's a shame that we have organizations like SpaceX and NASA spending so much money to explore barren wastelands when we could easily use those funds to implement technology that would counter any negative effects we've had on the Earth. I guess they believe it's easier to terraform a new planet altogether than to solve the minor issues plaguing us on the one that we have! lol
