How to make pancakes in the shape of a heart? For Valentine's Day !!
Hello friends! in this opportunity I want to present you with a very useful recipe for those who want to surprise a loved one; and since the long awaited Day of Love and Friendship is approaching, it is better to start preparing. Without more to add here I leave this recipe that has bailed me out a couple of times!
Ingredients:
For Pancakes:
1 1/2 cup of wheat flour leavening (if you do not have you can use all-purpose wheat flour and add a teaspoon of baking powder).
1 egg.
3 spoonfuls of sugar.
1 Tablespoon of milk powder.
1 1/2 Tablespoon of butter with salt (if you do not have it you can use butter without salt and add half a teaspoon of salt to the preparation).
3 cups of water
Vanilla to taste (can also be substituted by cinnamon if you prefer).
For decoration:
1 metal or plastic mold in the shape of a heart.
1 cup of chopped fruit (of your choice).
Molten chocolate to taste.
Sesame to taste.
PREPARATION:
- Heat 1/2 cup of water on a high heat pour the hot water into a bowl and add the butter, stir with a hand mixer until melted.
- Add the sugar, milk and beat until they dissolve.
- Add the rest of the water and check that the mixture is already at room temperature; If so, add a part of the wheat flour and beat until it is well integrated with the rest of the preparation.
- Add the egg and beat well until it is integrated, then add the rest of the flour and the vanilla mix well and you will be ready to cook.
- Preheat a Teflon pan over medium heat and lubricate the surface with a little vegetable oil.
- With a soup spoon pour some of the mixture on the hot pan wait for the pancake to begin to make holes in the opposite of the pan and at that time is that you must turn to cook on the other side .
- Once ready remove from the pan and continue with the next pancake until the mixture is finished if desired.
- Wait a little for the pancakes that are already ready to cool and take the mold in the shape of a heart and press it with the cutting part in the center of the pancake so that the cut takes on the shape of a heart.
- Place on a plate or tray and place over the chopped fruits, decorate to taste with melted chocolate and finally sesame seeds.
- Ready, you can also give your personal touch with a pennant of Happy Valentine's Day.
