Hao Dong, a PhD Student at Imperial College London, is the creator of a public repository called TensorLayer.

TensorLayer is a deep learning and reinforcement learning library based on TensorFlow. According to Hao:

"It provides rich data processing, model training and serving modules to help both researchers and engineers build practical machine learning workflows." [source]

It is actively maintained and there have been multiple implementations for different purposes already built based on it. It acts like a high-level layer on top of TensorFlow, hence the name. Some of the implementations and uses include:

  • multi-layer perceptron: classification (simple and with iteration)
  • computer vision: multiple implementations
  • natural language processing: multiple implementations
  • adversarial learning: multiple implementations
  • reinforcement learning: multiple implementations
  • a few special examples.
