Machine Learning Yearning - [Andrew Ng Book]
Professor Andrew Ng, an expert and very popular figure in the field of Deep Learning, has been writing a book in which he teaches how to structure machine learning projects. The book is not finished yet, but he's been sending emails to free subscribers after each chapter is completed.
So, after reading the book you'll:
- know how to put the right questions for an AI project
- debugg AI projects
- build complex settings (i.e.: different types of train/test sets)
- be able to to use transfer learning, multi-task learning and other types of learning used in deep learning projects.
As per Ng:
"Historically, the only way to learn how to make these "strategy" decisions has been a multi-year apprenticeship in a graduate program or company. I am writing Machine Learning Yearning to help you quickly gain this skill so that you can become better at building AI systems." [source]
Alright, so, if you want to be reading from this book, make sure to subscribe to the list, and you'll be getting the chapters as Prof. Ng finishes writing them:

Truly since I’ve been following your blog on deep learning , I’ve been exposed to some technological knowledge which I didn’t possess before now. You’re such a great teacher and leader, more grease to your
Thanks for this awesome update man. As I have previously shared with you that some of your work here on steemit has been a very good reminder to me, academically speaking (I also have used a couple of your videos for revising as few things).
I wouldn't say that I have been out touch with ML/AI or ANN but then I haven't really perused them actively in last few years - haven't really had a reason to. Been feeling really crappy for loosing touch with such important aspect of my academic life. So I am subscribing to NG's mailing list in hopes of regaining the lost edge.
Once again thanks for this update:-)
this book must awesome ..Thanks for sharing
