CAPTURING FEELINGS, EMOTIONS AND MOMENTS 2.0

A dog has a unique way of cheering you up and turn your busy days into colourful ones. Our puppers can love us unconditionally and this is what I always feel when I hug and play with Cali. Even if we are different species, a special bond is felt between us, as a mother does with her child. My pup is making the world a much better place for me with just the way she turns even the most mundane situation into a happy occasion.

Cali is a 9-month-old Shih Tzu who loves to lounge around in front of the electric fan in this scorching hot tropical summer. She hates it when I brush her hair. She also looks like a boy for the most part. As her furmom, I want to make sure that she is comfortable so I decided to have her groomed to get rid of the messy fur she once sported. I also bought her this pretty floral dress with a big bow at the back. She is usually restless and doesn't like to be taken photos of but, she seems to be feeling beautiful this time that she gamely posed for a few shots. Here is Cali, looking and feeling pretty in this snap. The golden hour was the perfect lighting that enhances the vibe of this photo and shows just how happy my pup is for having a loving home to care for her.

I look forward to many more years with Cali by my side. Having her eases my life. As a public school teacher, I am faced with different situations that can dampen my spirit and make me feel stressed out. All of the negative emotions suddenly leave me though when I enter the door and I have this little four-legged love personified to welcome me.
